Virginia Veeder Westervelt Correspondence [electronic resource]
Scope and Contents
Westervelt summarized these materials poignantly in 1995: "Letters from Wellesley from September, 1933 to June, 1935; saved by my mother. She was an elementary school teacher, a widow since my father died in the flu epidemic of 1918, when I was four years old. We were close and good friends."
