Conditions Governing Use
The Wellesley College Archives welcomes researchers to use materials in the public domain, to make fair use of copyrighted materials as defined by copyright law, and to request permission to use works whose copyright is held by Wellesley College. All materials from the Archives, regardless of copyright status, should be attributed to the Wellesley College Archives, Library and Technology Services when cited, quoted, or reproduced.
Historical Note
The Slater International Center was established by Priscilla Allen Slater, class of 1916, and her husband Ellis Dwinnell Slater in the 1970s. The mission of the Slater International Center is to encourage greater understanding among all cultures through personal association and cooperative endeavor. The Slater Center is the focal point for international activities on campus and a space for anyone in the community with the desire to increase intercultural understanding and establish global connections. Student organizations and academic departments use Slater International Center regularly for meetings, events, and cultural celebrations.
