Scope and Contents
The Zeta Alpha Society records includes annual reports, lists of members, news clippings, documentation of the initiation ceremony, society correspondence, program meetings, plays performed, yearbooks, directories, the society publication True Blue, records of membership and attendance and financial records. Also includes meeting minutes, the society's original Constitution and By-Laws, and other memorabilia such as a cookbook and guestbooks. Includes scrapbooks and photo albums, and a rare 1897 book belonging to the society: "London as seen by Charles Dana Gibson."

Biographical / Historical
Zeta Alpha is a Wellesley College society that was founded in 1876. The society was originally formed for students interested in literature and theater. Today (2019) the society "focuses exclusively on literature, while also expanding the scope of the club to include social, philanthropic, and siblinghood events." [societyzetaalpha.org]
