Scope and Contents

Series II. Mary Lee Brooks papers (circa 1910, 1932-2002) consists of: photos from her time as a student, including formal portraits of friends, a group photo of "Wellesley Granddaughters '36," and a group photo of the membership of the Tau Zeta Epsilon society; photos taken at the class' 30th, 40th, 50th, and 60th Reunions; a framed photo of the Tau Zeta Epsilon House with a key to the House; maps and photos of the campus; a class directory; files related to the passing of her two friends and classmates Susan "Sudie" Woodfin and Lucy E. Custer; a 45th Reunion canvas bag and other reunion memorabilia; and five files of Round Robin letters, a tradition begun in 1938, with an initial 16 correspondents (which dropped to 5 by 2002). Amongst the Round Robin correspondents was Nicolas (N.E.B.) Ostermann until his passing in 1996.
