Biographical / Historical
Josephine Carter Abbott was from Charlotte, North Carolina. While at Wellesley, she was the President of the Alliance Francaise (French Alliance), and a Junior Durant Scholar in 1920. She married Theodore A. Peck in 1923 and they had two sons and two daughters. She was a novelist, and published “The Flower of Light” in 1952. She passed away in 1964.
