Explanatory note included reads: "Eleanor and Elizabeth Barnhart graduated from high school in Greenburg, Pennsylvania, in June, 1928. Their mother, Mary Alice Breck Barnhart, had graduated from Wellesley in 1905 and later in the same year had found a teaching position in Greensburg, where she met Paul S. Barnhart, her future husband. One of Miss Breck's students in Greensburg High School was Mary Fisher, who later became Dr. Mary DeKruif, teacher of Hygiene and physician at Wellesley. ..
