From the Collection:

Records of the Class of 1912, dating from 1836-2003, consisting of course materials, event programs, memorabilia, records of admission, reunion materials, meeting minutes, correspondence, financial records and Treasurer’s Reports, notebooks, scrapbooks, diaries, photo albums and slides; concerning class meetings and the social and academic activities of members of the class as undergraduates, and information on reunions, careers and activities of members of the class as alumnae. Collection includes some papers of Marjory Stoneman Douglas, who was a journalist and author known for her advocacy for women's suffrage and conservation of the Everglades. Of note are Lucy Robert’s slides from travel in East and Southeast Asia in the 1950s, and Elizabeth Hart Pennell’s records from her time volunteering in Europe with the YMCA during World War I and with the Red Cross during World War II. Collection also includes manuscripts and publications of authors Christine Turner Curtis and Margaret Lathrop Law.
