Manuscript of Venetian Architecture of the Early Renaissance, Forward through Chapter 22, circa 1978
Scope and Contents
Sub-Series A includes drafts and proofs, notes and edits, photographs and drawings, and other records relating to the research, writing, and publication of Venetian Architecture of the Early Renaissance. Notable about this series is the heavy involvement of McAndrew's wife, Betty Bartlett McAndrew, who took on the work of ensuring the book was published in 1980, revised, and subsequently published in Italian in 1982, after the death of her husband in 1978. Boxes 13-19 contain unfoldered card catalogs with notes and bibliography.
