Scope and Contents
Collection consists of records of student events, dating from 1904-1968. Includes records of Carousel (also called Winter Carnival), Float Night, Forensic Burning, Freshman Week, Honors Day, May Day, Hoop Rolling, Proms (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior), Tradition Night, and Tree Day. Also includes files on the May 1970 student strikes (related to the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War).
