Scope and Content
Materials pertaining to Mills' Chinese activism and philanthropy work include both primary sources and an aggregation of articles, pamphlets, clippings, brochures, publications, reports, catalogs, post cards, and maps pertaining primarily to China, and also to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. Primary sources from the Chinese Activism and Philanthropy portion of the collection include publications, clippings, correspondence, minutes, press releases, reports, and lists from the American Bureau for Medical Aid to China (ABMAC), The True Light Foundation, the Chinatown Planning Council, and other organizations, as well as letters to elected officials and newspaper editors. Materials are dated 1922-1987.
