This series contains Irene Guillén's small journals, documenting her life on a daily basis for more than 25 years. Some books contain inserted letters, photographs, and other mementos. The insertions have been left in their original location within the books.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The diaries from 1961-1975 were the gift of Jorge Guillén in 1976. The diaries from 1976-1983 were the gift of Irene Guillén in 1984. And the diaries from 1985-1987 and 1991-1992 were the gift of Teresa (Guillén) Gilman '43 in 2005. Accession number A76-055.
